The Women in the Arts Festival (WITA) is a celebration of regional women artists that takes place during the second weekend of November each year in East Lansing, Michigan. The festival begins on Friday evening with dinner at the
Sistrum Café, shopping in the Artist Market and a concert event. We gather again on Saturday morning for more music, poetry, shopping, dining and socializing into the night, finishing the festival with a second concert event. This festival
is an important commitment women make each year to renew our support for women artists and musicians. WITA is a volunteer-run organization with a commitment to support women in their creative pursuits and the goal of creating space for women to showcase their talents.
What is Circe Productions? Many years ago a group of local women produced events and concerts under the name Circe Productions. One of those events was the annual fall Women In The Arts Festival.
The Ask – Sponsorship & Membership
Women In The Arts is taking on the challenge of providing a firm financial base that insures that this festival will continue for many years to come. It is with this in mind that we ask you to consider becoming a festival sponsor. By becoming a sponsor you will help support women artists by:
Supporting the long term financial health of the Women in the Arts Festival
Providing funding for art and music projects by women artists and musicians
Creating opportunities for local concerts and events

Women In The Arts membership fund supports initiatives that benefit women artists and musicians over time.
Initiatives such as:
Funding projects and personal support for individual artists and musicians
Providing matching funds for available sponsorships
Sponsoring special fundraising events for WITA throughout the year
And other fun, innovative ideas that support our creative community. We invite you to become a Member of Women in the Arts this year.
