2010 Artist Information

The Women in the Arts Festival Artist Market features over 30 booths full of women created and inspired art, photography, jewelry, clothing, gifts, sculpture, cards, edible treats, books, music and more.


Walk through and admire the craftswoman-ship and take home a one-of-a-kind item to give as a holiday gift or to help you remember the Festival throughout the year. The festival also offers space for non-profit groups that serve women, a great opportunity to learn more and become involved in your community.

Indigenous Women Workers of Guatemala
For years, poor Mayan women of Guatamala sold their crafts in the streets. It is no longer safe or legal to do this. The women in the cooperative handweave beautiful fabrics in vibrant colors.  From this, they craft handbags, table runners, scarves, quilts and other items. We are helping them market their work.
